Spring is here!

Spring is here and everything is starting to bud and bloom. I love this time of year when all the wildflowers are coming out and everything is turning green again. I am hoping that green for me, means less mud!! I also love the weather this time of year. Not including this week, with the clouds and humidity but all in all, I love the 70's and wish it would stay this way all year long.

We got chicks in the mail last week. It is quite a job keeping them the right temperature, feeding them and for Clay, petting each and every one of them so they all get attention. They have already almost doubled in size in less that a week. We have also had one die and from Clay's reaction, I thought that they all had died. He carried it in (screaming and bawling) and was so sad. He cried and cried and was so afraid that all of them would die. It took him at least 20 minutes to get calmed down so that he could talk. Wyatt was a little more matter-of-fact and said, "It's okay, we have 34 more!"

Hope you all are enjoying Spring! Except, of course, you crazy people who live where it is still snowing!!

Easter Weekend

We enjoyed a great Easter weekend. The weather has been wonderful and we have spent a lot of time outside. We finally got around to coloring eggs on Sunday morning. The boys have a quick smile in this picture. They weren't very excited to have to come inside and get ready for church. Kendra thinks she needs to do whatever they are doing!

Spring Break

We had a lot of fun over Spring Break. I had to work on Monday and Wednesday so I tried to entertain the kids on the other days. Tuesday we went to the movies and saw Horton hears a Who. The boys enjoyed and Kendra worked me over. Needless to say, next time, she will be staying home! Thursday we went to the zoo with my friends Gina and Jamie and their kids. We had a great day! Friday we met Jamie and her kids and rode Macho! We haven't rode for quite a while and everyone enjoyed it. Clay the least-even though he was really excited, he was a little scared. Now we're back to reality-school, work, ect.!!

Jayson & Danniel's Baby

Jayson and Danniel had there precious baby boy on March 15th. Kyle Vincent weighed 5 lbs 11 oz and was 19 1/2 inches long. He is doing great. He has had his 1st bath and his parents are enjoying him. Jayson is definitely the proud father and tells me how cute he is every time I talk to him! Kendra and I are going in a couple of weeks- I can hardly wait!
