Home to the HEAT!

Wow! We have really been spoiled the last few summers. It has been 102 to 105 for the past couple of days and there is no end in sight. I don't even like to go outside when it is like this. It hasn't been too humid though so the evenings aren't unbearable. The boys have been fishing in the lake as much as possible even though with the extreme heat and know rain, it is shrinking by leaps and bounds. They've also been swimming in it which grosses me out. We only have 1 puppy left and I am trying to talk Jon in to letting us keep him. He is a sweet puppy. The kids are real original and have named him Brownie.

Wyatt is having his tonsils out on Thursday. He is not excited but I will be glad to not be running to the doctor every other month with Strept. I think he will feel much better.

SUMMER!!

Well, I have not been keeping up with this very well. Summer is flying by. I can't believe in a month that school will start. The kids and I left the end of June and went to Wyoming. Jon joined us a few days later to take a trip to Yellowstone. My parents, Jesica and her family, Nathan, and my cousin, Casey and her family and all of us went. There were 18 of us. 9 Kids!! We had a great time and saw lots of great stuff. Jayson's family joined us for the last 2 nights. It was good to spend some time with them too.

I also got to spend that last weekend I was there at Bear Lake for a family reunion. I got to see many of my cousins and their children and we had a great time. It's like we don't miss a beat. It is always great to get together with them. We have so much fun together (although, it was funner when we were kids and didn't have to  worry about our kids) but it was great to watch our kids interact and play with one another. There were 109 of us at the reunion. It was just my Grandpa's kids, down to great, great grandkids.

We had a great trip! Wyatt did lots of horse riding with Uncle Jayson while we were at the ranch. Clay mostly road on the gator with Grandpa. We didn't come home with too many mosquito bites (the mosquitos up there could carry you off!)
